Built in 1907 this cottage has stayed in the same family. Modern conveniences were finally added to this home, while keeping the original charm the Thousand Islands are known for. It was important to keep the essence of the original cottage, like custom built windows with antique glass, minimize light pollution, and encourage composting, recycling and minimizing waste as everything arrives and leaves on a boat to this small island. A cottage that waited 111 years to have hot water flowing from the taps, a kitchen with counters, and conveniences like drinkable tap water via a custom filtration system (to minimize water bottles and plastic waste. Features: a new porch with family entrance, new kitchen, pantry, laundry, 3 new baths and a private master suite overlooking the water.
